Jin Shin Jyutsu

Jin Shin Jyutsu

What is Jin Shin Jyutsu? It is a traditional Japanese healing discovered by Jiro Murai in 1900. This unique healing is to harmonize the senses and soothe the intellectual body.

It works on awakening wisdom, enhancing equilibrium, and exploring joy. JÄ«n Shin is an excellent self-healing practice for maintaining overall well-being and promoting harmony in one’s surroundings.

Jīn Shin Jyutsu healing is based on energy flow and how to unblock energy from different points.

This Japanese healing technique is based on the concept of Meridians, where the vital force is believed to exist. When there is a lack of energy flow, the meridians are affected.

This remarkable healing technique is similar to Reiki, which is practiced to channel universal energy to the person without wasting or losing one’s own power.

Master Murai mentioned that all humans pass through five tendencies: stress, anger, fear, sorrow, and nervousness.

His main idea was to activate energy on those specific points where these tendencies could be controlled.

How does Jin Shin work?

Jīn Shin Jyutsu has a healing impact on our bodies. It targets five tendencies and opens the energy line, a meridian in the Chinese energy flow system.

This healing is so effective in controlling emotions and making a collaboration with the inner self. The five tendencies are: –

  1. Worries;
  2. Fear;
  3. Anger;
  4. Sadness;
  5. Nervousness.

JÄ«n Shin Jyutsu’s primary fundamental is determining which tendency is hyper and working on that. Then, it works on normalization, that specific tendency by which a person returns to normal.

What does the Finger mean in Jin Shin?

Jin Shin Jyutsu’s five tendencies are located at specific points on our hands. Therefore, it is essential to know the exact place of these tendencies.

  • Worries (Thumb);
  • Fear (Index Finger);
  • Anger (Middle Finger);
  • Sorrow (Ring Finger);
  • Nervousness (Little Finger).

It is exciting that this healing controls these tendencies and has a profound impact on the related body organs.

How to practice Jin Shin?

Jin Shin Jyutsu healing art is practised in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Therefore, the healer and the receiver must be in a convenient state so that they can work appropriately.

Jin Shin Jyutsu healing is done through: –

  1. The receiver should lie on the bed or the ground, allowing their body to rest. So, the legs are stable, and no movement there.
  2. The palms are facing upward, and the hands are relaxed.
  3. Your upper limb should be placed in a proper line aligned with the head and neck.
  4. The healer would start scanning the specific healing areas of the receiver. Again, this involves understanding the body’s systems.
  5. First, the healer would make a connection and heal the heart and root channels.
  6. Please take your right hand and press the centre of the palm with your thumb; this will release happy hormones into your body.
  7. Hold the receiver’s big thumb for 30 seconds and deploy your energy to the area. After this, hold each finger individually for a few moments.
  8. Gently place your hand over the person’s hand and turn the receiver’s palm so that it is facing up, with yours on top.
  9. Slowly put their hand down and deploy the energy between the palm and the shoulder region.
  10. Follow up on the other side and complete the healing by covering the heart and root channels.
