India is one of the world’s most traditional and authentic wellness centres. The Himalayas are the best destination for yoga and meditation retreats, healing retreats, and spiritual retreats.
A yoga retreat is also known as the Wellness Retreat. In today’s fast-paced lifestyle, we must take a break and rejuvenate ourselves.
In a 7-day wellness retreat, we blend the top practices of Ayurveda, yoga, meditation, healing, and spiritual retreats.
Yoga beginners and world travellers should attend this fantastic yoga retreat program to indulge in nature.
The yoga retreat is an excellent opportunity for newcomers to enter the yogic world. A wellness retreat consists of things that dwell in you in the spiritual world. Benefits of Yoga Retreat
A meditation retreat is a way to dive into the spiritual world. It simply brings love and affection into a person’s life. Like a yoga retreat, it is an excellent platform for meeting like-minded practitioners.
Our meditation retreat is based on transcendental, chakra, guided, and japa meditation. It is primarily available when you join a yoga retreat, which is similar to a northern California wellness retreat.
Our yoga retreat facilitates traditional aspects of a yogic lifestyle. It is simply to practice these principles in daily life.
During a meditation retreat, a person brings his senses at low fluctuation to match up with the Himalayas and transforms his spiritual journey with a simple ashram lifestyle.

We will happily arrange complimentary pick-up and drop-off facilities between Dehradun Airport and the ashram. To take advantage of this option, we urge you to inform us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Our students receive a complimentary yoga kit before they begin the course. The kit includes all the necessary study materials and stationaries for taking notes for future reference. Additionally, it consists of a yoga mat, a backpack, a T-shirt, and a neti pot—all the things you would need to participate in your classes.
All our students are provided with four healthy, sattvic meals every day. The food is prepared by our efficient kitchen staff, who adhere to Ayurvedic and Vegan cooking guidelines. Milk and nut products are served separately for those who prefer. It is similar to a Costa Rica wellness retreat.
The ashram arranged three complimentary excursions during the month-long program. These excursions often allow our students to experience the local temples, waterfalls, caves, and other essential places.
Before leaving for India, our students have a dedicated phone and chat support number. This helps them stay in touch with us and experience a smooth journey from their country to the ashram.
We offer our students complete control of their booking, meaning they can transfer their booking to someone else, switch to a different course, or join a different batch than planned within a calendar year.
However, it is essential to note that this facility is only available until the batches are finalized for a particular wellness retreat. Our batches are finalized on the 5th of every month. Once the final list has been prepared, no such modification can be allowed unless there is a critical emergency.
In case of emergency
We understand and empathize with unavoidable circumstances. Therefore, we ask our students to notify us of their situation within 24 hours of an emergency if they cannot continue their planned course. In an emergency, students can move their course date to another month but not transfer it to someone else. All emergency cases are individually evaluated, and the final decision of approval rests with the ashram authorities.
No Show
If a student fails to show up on the course’s scheduled date and doesn’t notify the ashram before the course, the booking amount paid during registration will cover the losses incurred during the initial arrangements. The student isn’t liable for any refund or date change in no-show situations.
Ethical Guidelines
At Yog Niketan Dham, we structure our courses and daily plans following the essentials of a yogic way of life. And we believe that sheering to this structure only enhances the experience for our students. We must understand that yoga is not just about postures and a few theoretical lessons; it is a way of life. And, to completely transform your life according to the principles of yoga, it is essential that you strictly follow the guidelines of our ashram.
Additionally, we understand that our students come from different countries and cultural backgrounds. We believe in sharing our mutual respect for every culture and its beliefs. In return, we ask that our students feel the same about our culture and the other students they live and study with.
Furthermore, our values and principles are based on traditional yogic practice. Though we respect all yoga disciplines, we highly discourage our students from practising modified forms during the course. Our students must understand that most contemporary yogic forms deal with only physical exercise, not ancient yoga’s fundamentals.
Last but not least, we practice sattvic living at the ashram, meaning that non-vegetarian food items, smoking, and drinking are strictly prohibited. We do not tolerate any form of intoxication during a wellness retreat program. Being under the influence of any such substance is a cause for immediate termination without any refunds.
